Irene and I are saddened to learn of Bart's passing. He and I (Don) played trombones in Mr. Richard's junior high school band. Bart took his instrument home religiously and practiced. Maybe, that's why he was so much better than me. We shared many jokes with other members of the horn section. Thank God Mr. Richards didn't hear them.
