I remember his smiling face from Westview Jr. High - Mr. Rupp's TV history class. He and Fred Francis were buddies in section 8-1. After I participated in a TV class at the studio, I heard that he said I had a nice personality. Fast forward many years, and after moving to Pembroke Pines, learned that he had just finished his term as the mayor! What a surprise. So glad I got to see him again at our reunion. So sorry to hear this.
