Comments:

In 1962, from school, I lived back in Richmond VA, at a Boarding School for girls, for 10 months. Had a few jobs, as a stegnographer on IBM machines, clerk typist/file clerk, Mail clerk. June of 1963, I went to Hawaii with my mother, to marry my fiancée, Gregory E. Kirkland, that was in the U S Marine Corp there for 3 years. Soon after his return, to where I was living w/my folks in Danville, Va. we left to live 10 months in St. Petersburg, FL. Left there for Richmond again, where we resided and had our 3 children, for almost 4 yrs. We moved back to FL in North Miami Beach. Lived in 4 other residents in FL from there. We lived in GA. for almost 2 years, Orlando, 8 months, until we moved in 2013 here at Lake Wales, FL our last home.

School Story:

I went to North Miami Jr. High in the 9th grade - 1958/59, North Miami Sr. High in the 10, first semester of the 11th, I attended George Wythe High in Richmond VA. The second semester, I completed the 11th at NMSH. I graduated the following year, 1962 at NMSH.

Who (among classmates) have you known the longest? Have you kept up with each other?

No, I'm afraid not. I knew Joann Williams and her sister, Betty and husband, Herb Phelan, that graduated a year earlier.

If you have been married to the same person for 50 years or longer please tell us the date of your wedding. If married to a fellow classmate please indicate that also.

Yes, I have been married to the same person for 55 years! June 30th 1963.

Hobbies:

I've always liked to cook and bake, getting recipe idea and keeping them for future reference, to look back on.
I like to crochet from time to time.

Still have things left on your "Bucket List"? If so, what?

Go to a few exotic places we have never been before. Maybe a Cruise, 3 days tops! Go back one more time, to my home town of Salem/Roanoke, VA, to see my friends again there and to just see how much the places has changed, from how I remembered it as a child growing up.
